Indoor Nano Drones: Integrating a VIO capable MIPI-CSI2 camera on the iMX93
As Virtana continues our development towards achieving autonomous flight with a nano-drone, we needed to integrate a camera for use with a visual inertial odometry (VIO) system. We describe our process for choosing the OV9281 camera and the process for getting it successfully integrated it with our processor.
Indoor Nano-Drones: Visual Inertial Odometry on an ultralight ARM module
Virtana is currently working on developing an autonomous nano-drone using the CrazyFlie 2.1. and UCM-i.MX93 System-on-Module. So far, we’ve been able to validate that it is possible to run a VIO system on our lightweight processor, which is the first step to building out this system!
