ANDRE THOMAS

Andre Thomas is an operator with over 20 years experience in the technology and construction industries. He has overseen and delivered on housing projects where over 100 houses were built. He cofounded Radial, a startup that helped connect immigrants to their home country through music. At Radial he was responsible for company and product vision, hiring, fundraising and go to market strategy. The service grew to over 10,000 users in over 78 countries and raised venture capital until it shut down in 2019.

Andre attended the University of Waterloo where he studied Computer Science (Software Engineering option) and Mathematics. At Virtana he has helped launch an IoT product in the medical space and has helped shape the long term strategy. Andre is also responsible for the day to day operations at Virtana which can range from Financial to HR to IT to Robot Operations and Business Development.
